Our mission is to provide our clients with a world-class housing and relocation experience. Our program manages approximately 80 multi-family and single family homes ranging from one to six bedrooms. We offer these units as transitional housing to incoming Faculty, Visiting Faculty, Visiting Associates, Moore Scholars, and Postdocs.
Most of our properties are furnished and include utilities and internet for your convenience. In addition, all locations are within walking distance to the Caltech campus as well as nearby shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, and banking.
When you check in with us, you may rest assured that your unit has been cleaned thoroughly and all linens and towels have been laundered.
We require all staff to follow Caltech's COVID19 Guidelines.
During times that we are short staffed, we will prioritize maintenance and service requests and will delay non-essential matters.
If you or someone in your household is feeling ill or exhibiting signs of COVID19, we kindly ask that you notify us before we visit your home. This way, we can take precautions to help you with your needs while keeping our staff safe and healthy.

In order to reserve Faculty Housing, please reach out to your sponsoring Division. They will submit an application on your behalf. If you're not sure of who to reach out to, please contact us and we will coordinate an application with your Division.

We are proud to offer you a personalized, world-class housing experience.
Prior to your arrival, we will clean your home and prepare it for your arrival. Although our housing is meant to be transitional, we want you to feel at home when you stay with us.
Our furnished properties include cookware, linens, towels, and a small supply of tissues, hand soap, paper towels, and bathroom tissue. Utilities, internet, and landscaping services are also included.
We offer smart TVs for you to stream your favorite apps.
We offer VOIP phone service upon request.
We can also provide you with a crib, high chair, or toddler bed upon request.

Our Operations Specialists conduct turnover maintenance and prepare your units in anticipation for your arrival. They will also continue to offer you a high level of service for any on-site assistance or maintenance needs.
Services can range from a request for extra towels, move in/move out inspections, help troubleshooting appliances, fixing a leaky faucet, and even making a run to the local Target if you forgot your toothbrush!
Although we love showing our beautiful properties, our listing is password protected for security purposes. It is only available to prospective visitors and the Caltech community.

We kindly ask for a two week notification if you are changing your check in or check out date.
There will be no penalty for changing your dates or terminating your lease as long as we receive a two week notice.
All cancellations or arrival date changes must be received in writing no later than 14 days prior to arrival/check-in. If the housing reservation cancellation is not received within this time frame, the tenant will be responsible for the cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the first month's rent and 50% of the Move In Fee.

We charge a one time, non-refundable Move In Fee to cover turnover and cleaning after you check out:
$600 for apartments and condos
$1,200 for single family homes
We accept pets with prior approval, and typically no more than two pets in a unit. Please speak with us if you have more than two pets. In some cases, exceptions are made (for example, if you have two dogs and a hamster).
We have a $50.00 monthly Pet Rent and a one-time, non-refundable Pet Fee of $500.00.
Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a Pet Application which will require proof of vaccinations and flea treatment for dogs and cats.
We do not allow aquariums in excess of 25 gallons. Terrariums are welcome.
We accept online payments via Visa or MasterCard.
For visits longer than 6 months, we will automatically set up your reservation to be billed directly to the Bursar. Upon arrival, you may visit them to set up automatic payments.
We offer a minimum one month stay and a maximum one year stay. Requests for extension will be considered close to the lease end date and is dependent on Faculty demand.
Relocating permanent Faculty can renew their lease up to three years.
We would like to provide you with the very best experience in our housing. As such, we would like you to be aware of some restrictions which will further be discussed in your lease:
- As a courtesy to your fellow neighbors, quiet hours begin at 10:00pm. We kindly ask that you keep your noise level reasonable so as not to disturb the rest of your community.
- Smoking in our housing units and common areas is prohibited per Pasadena City Ordinance. You must be within 20 feet from any doorways, windows, or ventilation systems.
- We do not allow BBQ grills in multifamily housing.
- We do not allow firearms, BB, pellet, or paintball guns, other weapons, fireworks, explosives, dangerous chemicals or highly flammable materials.
